    It has always been touch and go for me to change posts with an iPad.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    See if you can locate the 'wheelie screw' icon on top of yours and update. Please let me know how it goes.....

    Yes sorry misunderstood original post. I always thought it was a gear and not a screw but can confirm mine is gone too. Probably just a forum glitch.

    On a law and tax oriented site, I had the "surveillance" icon added to the top of my posts, ie 'you are being watched' probably due to a few posts where I wasn't hewing to the party line. I'm always willing to correct inaccurate or inappropriate posts if it is pointed out.

    So when I post and then go back and make corrections. You can only do that so many times before your post goes poof. Usually 4th or 5th time they wont let you re-post. Since I cant spell I am constantly rewording my posts so as not to seem like a schmuck online posting my stuff! Not sure if that is what your going through.

    Just tried to edit (add something) to a post in another thread and could not! Then I found this thread. Apparently it has been like this for awhile. I always make posting errors and need to correct them before folks realized how ignorant I really am. :(

    I wonder if it had to do with people posting something, then getting some likes/agrees on the post and then editing the content to something more nefarious?

    If this is a sudden software problem, I'd rather have the mods spending time looking into correcting it than posting explanations here. Since they're not posting explanations here, I must assume that's because they're heeding my desires and fixing it.
