I get the liquidity issue on rarities. A dealer had a lot of certified rarities ending on ebay yesterday that did not meet their reserves, some were pluses and high end. FUN auctions usually represent a good shot at top dollar.

Legend Auctions and Great Collections are also promising.

Generally I agree but without seeing the coins, it could also be that the reserves are just high and wouldn’t have been met in other venues as well.

Other people know more than some other people about some stuff and less about some other stuff. I know less about Trade Dollars than either of them, more about avoiding @SheWhoMustBeObeyed >:)

Andy - seems the longer you hold dreck , the less it is worth
The other factor is what do you tell your customer when they want to sell you back the dreck you sold them ?

This is why you need to change your phone number a lot

That or sell the stuff wholesale and leave some money on the table. (PM me for my new phone number.)

As far as customers selling stuff back:

    1. Been very rare for me have that happen. I just make my best offer....
    2. You can tell them one of these: that material has been phased out, broke right now / perhaps later in show, not buying due to current market conditions.”
    3. Just make your best offer.

I have an answer to this dilemma.

    JOIN THE PARTY .

DUMP YOUR LOSERS AND WIDGETS AND LOW QUALITY COINS AND TAKE YOUR LOSS. !!

I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
