Picked this up at a show today. I paid what I thought was a fair price however, I am getting conflicted opinions on the grade. I seem to think it is a 63 at least... Semi PL surfaces IMO. I can see reflection in the fields but I don't know if it is enough for a PL. I tried to picture it as best as I could. Would love to get this graded as well.

Just noticed this is a VAM 11 Lines in Wing
It looks approximately MS62, non-PL to me, though a 62+ wouldn’t surprise me and a 63 wouldn’t shock me.

63 seems right to me, doubtful on the PL, but a great looking coin!
(Reverse looks 64+, obverse 63-, so net to 63).
The reverse looks very nice but the obverse... MS62?
I saw the same date in a softpack at the Boeing Show today.
Saw a few other softpacks as well. Usually, I don't see any. I forgot to list that in my show report earlier, but it was unusual to see, approximately, 5-6 (between 2 different dealers)
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
It might go 63, but I think it’s closer to 62. It is a very nice coin.
62, no PL
Im in the 62 camp, obv to much chatter in main focal areas.
I'm at 62, I don't like that long diagonal scratch on the chin.
I do not see it grading any higher than MS62.
Aren’t the soft packs bad for the coins now that we know how bad the old plastic are?

I have not seen any softpacks where the plastic caused damage to the coin. The plastic may become brittle and the holder might fail when stored wrong but no coin damage.
62, no PL. Looks a bit too chewed up for a 63, but a nice looking coin nonetheless.
I believe that the US mint has used mylar or something similar for "soft packs" from the beginning.
As far as I know all modern mint soft plastic and capsizes are safe.
My guess is 62 no PL, however it's a nice coin, congratulations !!!
I agree.

My immediate reaction was 62, no PL. Seems like my gut reaction is shared by others.

MS61 + or MS62
62 here also
I would say 62 and not PL..... It is a nice CC that I would keep 'as is' unless you plan to sell it... even then, check the market to see how these are selling in the original soft packs. Cheers, RickO
I agree with 62
