Gold for me!

Gold.... Cheers, RickO
I dunno, what year coin? Reverse proof, first strike? What's the mintage? What holder brand, what grade? Does the slab have stickers on it? What about signatures? Special foil, pictures, any other bells and whistles? Has it got a box? Is it made of wood? REAL wood? Is it velvet lined? Can i get free shipping? What's the bid ask spread?

Going against the wind here with palladium. Gotta continue to ride the hot streak.
If you give me 2 to 1 odds..Palladium....it's rarer than gold
I prefer an “and” to keep my options open.
I'd take gold vs overpriced silver any day. Thanks
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

I'll go with a Happy Meal.
Gold. Palladium is tied to the economy. We're due...

On the other hand . . .
Two ounces of gold or three ounces of platinum?

I'll go with Palladium, as far as premium to spot. Although I'm a gold bug; and the FED , wild horses, nor the Stock Market can change that.
I only bought some because of how the chart looked, but this nifty article came across my Twitter feed today:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-12-21/why-palladium-s-suddenly-an-especially-precious-metal-quicktake?utm_medium=social&utm_content=commodities&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&cmpid==socialflow-twitter-commodities
Some good points to hear.
Good quick bullets in the article. Thanks @bnaryle.

Gold $1269, platinum $786. Has the gap ever been wider?

Gold-platinum gap now $490! Will it reach $500?

A good time to buy Platinum...
My YouTube Channel
after starting the platinum thread that asked about upside movers on platinum,
this is not a good time to buy platinum. no upside catalysts. no one has offered any news about switching from palladium to platinum again. and someone on Bloomberg tv said palladium demand is higher than supply.
(and spreads on platinum are too high for me, much less palladium)
With the current price so low, I think platinum could outperform gold on a percentage basis in coming years. There are other uses for platinum besides automotive, and some cultures still value it as jewelry.

Gold-platinum gap briefly reached $502. Currently $498. Wow!

It's hard not to get serious about more platinum with this phenomenon going on. It's still used as a diesel catalyst and there's only upside if gasoline decides to switch back. Platinum has many industrial uses.
I knew it would happen.
