It's a fantasy piece... everyone knows there is no 1895CC Morgan. If others can do it, why not this person?

Previous transactions: Wondercoin, goldman86, dmarks, Type2

The Treasury says that if it says one dollar on it and looks every bit like a real silver dollar and does not have COPY or REPLICA on it, it's illegal to sell. Not everyone know that the mint shut down in '93. It would fool all but collectors. That's why.

I seem to recall 1964 peace dollars, 1975 Washington quarters, etc having this process done to them that sell for big money and have quite a following on this board.

You are flat out incorrect. And I have no idea what 1975 Washington quarters have to do with Chinese fake Morgans being sold on eBay.

Unless this fake 1895-CC is struck on a genuine Morgan silver dollar (and it is not) then you have no argument.

Why doesn't that rule apply to Dan Carr products?

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
