Just donated, feels great to help out someone in need. God bless you and your family Joe.
Smashed through the $6k mark, some good people here. Maybe PCGS can pony up some funds??
May I make a suggestion that you repost the link to the fund every so often so that it is always on the last page of comments?

If I could give you all a big hug through this phone I sure would. I have no words that could ever express my gratitude for what my coin brothers and sisters are doing for my family.
We love you all

Knowing that you and your family are safe is the only thanks we need.
We survived Katrina back in the day. We did not lose everything and had insurance but it doesn't cover everything. The gifts from others at the beginning made a huge difference and just gave us hope for the future. I wish you the best of luck and remember it will get better.
As a fellow Californian I was more than happy to help. Glad to see a lot of activity on this. Keep it going.
And thanks to Paradise Found for matching so many donations.

Paid. Hope his coins didn't melt in the safe and he can sell those for more funds.
I hope he can use insurance money to rebuild and keep the coins in the safe to enjoy. I know they're just coins, but it'd be nice if something could make it through.

The first thing I did when I got home was check and see how much was raised from this morning. Darn impressive guys and ladies, sittin at $6725. All the best Joe!

I posted his GoFundMe page to my Facebook news feed. I have over 100 friends, hoping some of them help.
Donation sent. I live in a town of 20,000 - can't imagine my whole town going up in smoke - I will never complain about the excessive rain we have been having ever again!

More rain coming overnight, seen a lot of rain as of late here in CT, can't complain could be much worse. Again, all the best Joe!

I’m truly at a loss for words. You guys and ladies have really stepped up to help my family out and it’s very much helping. I know I keep saying I don’t have the words to lay out to you all for this kindness and caring you have all shown. It means so much and I do love you all.
Today was pretty horrible. My family is very tough but I’m afraid this is way more than any of us has ever prepared for. The depression I can see on their faces makes me feel like a useless old man. I will stay positive and in turn they will too in time. It’s just so very tough as you might be able to imagine.
You all are so good and caring but I have nothing but words to give back and I can’t find the words to express what is in my heart and my family’s heart.
Heather I want to personally thank you for allowing this go fund me to happen especially to one of your problem dogs like I am. Sometimes I have a way about myself that lets my feeling show no matter what those feeling are. At any rate from the bottom of my and my family’s heart I want to thank you.
This is the greatest forum in the world and I’ll always feel that way and I always have. This has gone way beyond coins.
For now everyday will be challenging for us but we are a strong clan and giving up is not in our blood. We never give up and never have. So with 6 adults one infant with 3 dogs and two cats we are together and will stay that way and stay strong until our house and business is rebuilt. I’m sorry for rambling but I’m not right in the head yet for texting or typing. I can’t respond much cause I’m just not myself.
God bless each and everyone of you good, good and caring folks.
We love you all.

Joe (CHD), I just want to wish you the best as well. I want to also let you know how inspiring you are to have such a positive outlook in the face of things. You have obviously put your family (and, yes, that includes your "furbabies", as people call pets) first and foremost and above material things.
I do understand that it can't be easy. I haven't lost as much as you have, in the way you have, so I can't fully understand. It's awesome that this was started for you, and every little bit is adding up. It is a strong forum that has come together, before, when a member has had a tough time, but this is definitely one of the worst, imo.
Please stay safe and I continue to send you well wishes and prayers as that area has been so devastated, and, unlike some of the stars in Malibu that are posting their losses, you are a normal person who is being hit so hard on this.
Stay safe, stay strong, and take care of your family as I am sure they will try to take care of you
(I have 2 cats and I would have grabbed them along with the wife and kid, before the coins, just like you)
Not sure why no one thought of this before today, but I also collect trading cards and I post next door on the "Trading card and memorabilia forum", so I started a thread over there to help @crazyhounddog get more donations. I really hope this helps...
I have nothing but love in my heart for each and every one of you.
I wish I had more than words to express how grateful my family and I are in this trying time for all that you’ve done. A heartfelt thank you
God bless you all

Again, the first thing I did when I woke to go to work was check this thread and the progress. It's a beautiful when people come together for a cause. Stay strong Joe!
I already liked and respected CHD before all this, but seeing his attitude under these circumstances gives me a respect for him I didn't know was possible.
As many of you know, my Dad recently passed away, and while I was going through his things, I found a lone $100 bill in his wallet, no other bills, just this $100 bill. I set it aside on a table not knowing what to do with it. When I read about Joe losing everything in the Paradise fire, I was planning on donating something to help him. Then when I saw that $100 bill on the table, I knew the perfect thing to do with this money. I know it's not much but $100 was a lot in my Dad's world, so I'm sure my Dad would be very happy if Joe used this money to ease his burdens even a little.
I have a coin up on ebay (link on BST) that the proceeds will be sent to @crazyhounddog . I'll be putting some more up. Take a look if you like and here's the ebay link (Buffalo Nickel MS64): https://www.ebay.com/itm/223225531080

The multiple contributions to Joe and his family from those who participate on the forums and from non forum sources is a fine example of the good side of human nature.
Hopefully others who have lost their homes and personal belongings in the California fires (both north and south) are receiving support from others.
I just wish that the smoke from the Butte County fires would blow directly west and out into the Pacific [that is not going to happen]; or better yet I wish that California would get drenched with heavy winter storms (without the mudslides taking place in the burn areas). Smoke from the Butte County fires is still making for unhealthy air conditions across the SF Bay Area and parts of the Sacramento and maybe even San Joaquin valleys.
Hi buddy,
We are packing and loading up to move to the next hotel. Our fault for not
booking it longer than we did.
The last we heard nobody can go into town until the 30th. They are still doing
body searches for the unfortunate souls.
I’m sorry but my time is very limited to when I can get to the forum.
I apologize for that. I will give an update just as soon as I have the time.
God bless you and the good folks in the forum. You guys and ladies are all heaven sent
angels.
We love you all❤️❤️
I didn't know until this email that they had a deadline as to when they could go in and most certainly that they were still looking for bodies. My God, those poor people. I'll keep this GoFundMe account going until no funds are any longer donated or someone tell me to stop. Thanks all, I know how much Joe appreciates this.

We are now in our other hotel in Folsom Calif. We are very stressed and yes depressed. It seems to be setting in a little more everyday. Just being honest.
I can not thank you all for your caring and your generosity. I am without words.
God bless each and every one of you and I mean that from the bottom of my heart as this is 100% devastating for us.
