Crack outs

I used to play the crack out game with PCGS coins. Did OK, about 40 percent success .. This was pre CAC!
Now with CAC I am cracking out PCGS coin a lot less. How about you?

Crack out meaning you crack out and resubmit?
I’ve cracked out some modern proof mint stuff for my Dansco albums but that’s about it for me.
Collector of randomness. Photographer at PCGS. Lover of Harry Potter.
I played the crack-out game when I was a dealer but not now.
Yes I would buy what I saw as undergraded PCGS coins, crack them and resubmit.
I have sent coins for reconsideration but I have never cracked a coin out to submit raw. I have cracked out coins for dansco albums.
never have cracked coins out

Same with me. I used to crack and resubmit with pretty good success. Now many of my coins are CACed and for the most part properly graded, plus I don't want to lose the sticker.
I see you go with 'Sincerely, Boston'
I am yet to be lucky finding one to crack
.... my curve is coming up to the game soon
I have several later date 65 and 66FB mercs with the undipped light gold hue I really like in OGH's. I believe upon a crackout almost all would go 66 or 67FB, though it probably be a losing prop even if they received upgrades. I plan on just leaving them alone, and if I do decide to sell or trade, I will leave the coins speak for themselves!
I have cracked out a few coins.... for albums... not for re-submission. That was years ago though, nothing recently. Cheers, RickO
Usually I'll send in non PCGS slabs for a cross over if I think they are "close, but I've cracked a few since the grade was "soooooo" inflated.
I'm just curious.
I know in the past the crack out game was big.
In today's world, Is there a reason why someone would crack out a coin instead of submitting it for crossover or reconsideration?
Thanks in advance for the insight
It's too much work, money and stress. However if you could ask a grading service to notify you when grading was done and regrade over and over again until you got your grade, that would be interesting.
I have cracked out other TPG coins and crossed them or upgraded them at PCGS.
This guy is the king of crack outs

I've never had any reason to crack out any. I'm starting to become tempted !!!
I do when rattler or OGH.
