Even though CaptHenway was the catalyst for the discovery that the Sacagawea Cheerios Dollars has a "pattern" reverse, another board member had the "Discovery Specimen". I don't know if he is still active here or not. I have a photo of it but will wait to see if he will post the photo of the coin.
Nonsense, I disagree. Many discovery coins are even "labeled as such." One of mine is while the two others were bought after I realized the variety was unrecognized and published the discovery.

Probably the only one I'll ever own, but I'm still looking for a 75-S BF-17.

mine are locked away at the moment. We are moving to a new building. If this thread is still going in December I'll post them.
