2 More So Called Slug's showed up today

If I remember correctly bear collected these. I've been trying a search on this forum but haven't
been able to find them. If anyone know what he had and maybe where they are now, please let me know.
He may have sold them to acquire his last collection.
First one is 1915 Gilt Slug $50 "Days of '49" Souvenir J-215 NGC MS-63

Second one is raw, but surprisingly has very nice proof like reflective fields.
1906 Thompson Restaurants 50th Anniversary Medal Gold Slug .J-906
I'm sending in this and a few others when they arrive, along with some Conder Tokens.

Those are really neat.
That second one, being the same size and weight, it's gold ?
No all so called slugs are brass. But some are gold gilt. This one is not, but the first one posted is.

Then I will make some collages.

Do you use the CoinFacts images for your collages?

If they are your images, take them before slabbing to avoid the prongs.

I found this post by Bear in a 2008 thread
"I'm simply STUNNED by the prices Mint and Expoe medals are bringing at Long Beach!":

Thanks so very much @yosclimber
I wish I knew the list of what he bought. I was sort of following him back then on the slugs but thought
they might not be a good investment. Now that they have dropped in price I thought it might be the best time to pick up what I can . Thanks again

I found this post by @Bear from December 5, 2008:

So he had a slug collection as of December 5, 2008.
He put the rest of his SCD collection up for sale on a February 2009 Goldberg Auction (some of the lots did not sell).

I also resurrected some of his September 2008 slug purchases in this thread (he had 20 slugs at that point):

I remember @Bear building his legacy collection. He was a great member of the forums.
