I will know in about a week but, do you think this coin even has a shot at Cameo?

I'd say no based on the photos, but it has promise.
It looks like the portrait might be frosted enough, but PCGS likes deep mirrors. Here is one of mine for comparison.

Hard to tell from the pictures but from what I see I'd say no. On the other hand, I suspect there's more frost to it than I can see here. Either way, it looks like a really nice coin, cameo or not. Don't forget to post the results!

I will for sure along with some others. In hand the frost was there but not thick but also the fields seem deep, don't really know if that matters but is has seemed to on others I've seen.

From those photos, I would say no. It seems like application of the Cameo designation it inconsistent, but I really don't see a enough contrast to think that that piece will get it.

A beautiful Lincoln indeed....However, based on what I can see in those picture, no CAM....With those deep liquid fields though, there should be some type of designation... Cheers, RickO

Yea, she was pretty enough to send in anyway. If you look at the one 1967 deep cameo sp65 or so on HA. I have a hard time seeing the cameo in those particular pics. This last order I sent in has seven proof coins that I will post. When I'm ready to post do I go back and find this thread or just start a new one? Newbie question...> @Cameonut said:

Consider that submission a bit of tuition towards how PCGS is currently grading.
I have to wonder about the other coins that only made cameo - can you learn anything from them to have a better shot at getting dcams in the future?

I suppose I need to look for thicker frosting and I will have those to compare with.
