1853 Half Dime - Unlisted reverse CUD New pick up

Rather cheap at that! Nice cud and toning to it. And a faint clash I have not get seen in the series.

    This is a late die state of V-8 (I call it V-8a).

    1853 With Arrows Retained Reverse Cud
    This die state was only recently made known to me, at the ANA - Denver. A collector friend actually had two examples of the same die state. It exhibits a large retained cud above UNI. The collector had two examples of this die state, and are the only two that I have ever seen.

    There are other examples, such as this AU-53 on PCGS CoinFacts:

    This AU-53 was/is owned by @Voyageur and was posted on this forum last year.

    The reverse clash lines (diagonal line right of F and line through berry left of H) are a fairly common pattern.
