FWIW Miyajima Island was recently in the news as the world leaders attending the G-7 Summit in Hiroshima came here for a photo-op. All came by boat except for the U.S. President who was flown in by helicopter.
Some added views on Miyajima from my March of 2019 travel. (Unlike the U.S. President who helicoptered into Miyajima several weeks ago, we took the boat like the rest of the World Leaders. )
If those shelves are removable, that's actually a very clever way to hide an ugly circuit breaker box.

Naval Aviators Graffiti Jet Fighter After Pilot Lands On the Wrong Aircraft Carrier
.
During the 1950s and '60s, radar and GPS technology were still in their infancy, meaning it wasn't uncommon for naval aviators to become turned around or lost, resulting in them landing on the wrong aircraft carrier. Innocent as their errors may have been, crewmen liked to pick on these pilots by covering their jets with graffiti, so they wouldn't soon forget their mistakes.
As a 2018 tweet from the US Naval Institute explains, "Navy [tradition] holds that pilots who make a navigational error and land on the wrong carrier get mocked by the crew who 'decorate' the plane with graffiti. Adding @USAirForce markings is the ultimate insult to an already embarrassed naval aviator."
On my journey from Barcelona to Faro (800 miles) driving a new to me Suzuki Samurai at an average speed of 60 miles per hour I stopped in the quaint town of Tomelloso for the night.
@JWP Your pic gave me a scarry thought. When is the government going to mandate that all motorcycles have to be electric? I just can't imagine an electric Harley-Davidson.

This is a group of evening primroses, Commonly called a nicodemus plant because it only blooms at night. It starts blooming at dusk and the blossoms Start to shrivel up at the heat of the next day. The whole process starts all over at dusk the next day and continues till around the middle of july each year.
This is what they look like in the afternoon the next day.

This is what they looked like when they start going through the start of their blooming process at dusk. It is kind of like time lapse photography when you stand there and watch one after another bloom.
This is what they look like about half way thru the blooming process at dusk.
