What is the nomenclature of his weapon? Year this photo was taken?
Harrington and Ryky, trained as an explosive-detection dog, met in 2008. They went on to do two tours together in the war zones of the 21st century. From September 2008 to October 2009, the pair deployed to Iraq, and from September 2010 to October 2011, they were in Afghanistan.
Did you know, at that time, the military classified its working dogs as equipment, and those “retired” while overseas weren't granted transport back to the United States.??
I only post on this post on Fridays [I DO NOT WANT TO BE BANNED]
So here is my last post here [today=Friday]
PS This could use its own thread/////////////but this IS a coin forum and I appreciate PCGS @HeatherBoyd giving us this Friday Thread
A US military dog who lost her leg while on duty in Afghanistan has become the first to be awarded the animal equivalent of a British Victoria Cross.
German Shepherd Lucca, aged 12, completed over 400 separate missions during six years of active service with the U.S. military, where she would sniff out explosives.
It is believed she protected the lives of thousands of allied troops during her career, with there being no human casualties during any of her patrols

I saw Led Zeppelin back in 68 at the Winter land in SF. I’ve seen Jimi Hendrix 4 types. I grew up in Palo Alto back in the sixties and went to concerts as often as I could. I can’t think of any concert I’ve ever seen that would hold a candle to seeing the greatest guitarist ever, Jimi Hendrix.
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Long Beach Grand Prix, April 14, 2019: I took a pic of Rossi’s banner while in the paddock. I didn’t realize until later that the person next to the banner was Rossi himself, who just happened to win the race...and back to back.
I have clippings from a newspaper from just prior to the accident, a picture of the ship after the name was painted on the stern (tough to see from this picture of my picture), and autographs from two survivors Milvinia Dean (youngest survivor) and Edwina Troutt MacKenzie. In the same newspaper I found a reference to John Jacob Astor, the wealthiest passenger aboard the Titanic.

Appears to be a M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) or a variant.

Sooooo. I’m trying to set up for a coin show this weekend.
Kitty knows she’s the spotlight of the collection.
That REALLY sucks 😉
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Especially, if you’re already boarded and waiting for the pushback.
Shooting from the cheap seats I landed this whale of a 35 Buff. It looks like it just came off the die today.

Checking some coins and you forgot your magnet? Here’s a workaround.
The magnetic strip along the right side of an iPad actually has a purpose but works to detect ferrous coins.
