Went on a bike ride the other day and found this nice view several miles from my house, theres nothing quite as vibrant as leaves that are still popping out in the spring

For this Friday's posting here are some photos I took Thursday afternoon from my office balcony as I captured Air Force One headed toward Koea and Japan. (The President should be arriving in Korea as I post this.)
And here is the President's plane as it approaches Mount Denali (visible as a snow capped mountain on the horizon. It was impressive to see how much altitude the pilot could gain in a short period of time as Air Force One shot upward to avoid being an easy target.
Pictured here below is Air Force One's back-up plane as it followed the President's departure:
And just for fun here are some added photos from the same friendly skies as I awaited Air Force One's aerial appearance:
(The contrails may be from an advance plane as it is headed westward to Asia as well. Generally there is an AWACS plane that accompanies Air Force One to facilitate communications.)
And this one from earlier in the day as a surveillance Black Helicopter swooped by my building:
Some star trails at the Great Sand Dunes. The streak going through the second one is the International Space Station, I thought that was rather interesting.
Fort Hill , During the Revolutionary War, Colonial troops were positioned in various high spots around Boston in order to keep an eye out for the British army. Henry Knox, Josiah Waters, and the Colonial Army assembled a fort on this hill in 1775.
The Standpipe
The Standpipe, a 130 foot tall brick tower built in 1869 by the Cochichuate Water Company, was a high pressure water tank. Situated on the area's highest point, this gave gravitational pressure to the system. A spiral staircase which wrapped around the water tank still remains.
