Went to Laguna to surf 100's of times. This guy always greeted us.
Eiler Larsen (March 27, 1890 – March 19, 1975) was a Danish vagabond who earned fame as "The Greeter" of Laguna Beach, California, United States. Larsen wandered in Europe, South America and across the United States before settling in Laguna at age 52. He worked as an occasional gardener, but adopted the daily habit of standing on a street corner to greet every car and passerby.

FWIW that was the scene that greeted me in front of the hotel where I stopped to pick up visiting friends Saturday. At the time I didn't even notice the lined up cars contrasting the gaggle of geese.

Went fishing in Mexico for some exotics ..... What a fantastic day as I caught 3 Dorado (released one back into the wild). I made two fantastic dinners, Mahi-Mahi Burritos one night and Mahi-Mahi tacos another night.
Ever watch a movie and see a scene that you immediately identify as set in a location you have been in yourself?
Last night one of the cable movie channels was featuring a classic Japanese film that was made in 1951. There it was, a lane of Poplar trees on the campus of Sapporo's Hokkaido University that I had walked just before COVID closed down travel to Japan.

From today's opening of the State Fair, a Red, White, and a Blue in the Photography Competition - with my three entries taking Second in the Architectural Category, Third in the Life in the State Category, and First for the Panoramic Category.
Just picked up an upgrade over the cheap little camera I have been using.
It didn't come with a charger but I have one on the way and I'm excited to try it.
Once I learn how to work it I hope to see an improvement in my photo quality.
