A couple of raw Indian Cents

I stumbled upon these two coins recently. Will they straight grade with our host? If they do what grade? The pictures accurately portray the color of the coins. Thanks.

AU and XF. Need to get rid of the Verdi on the reverse of 74.
AU sharpness and probably EF sharpness.
The first one will probably never get through because of cleaning. The second one would need some TLC from a copper retoning expert. Nothing is guranteed, but it the present condition, neither will grade.
I don't think either one will grade.
RMR: 'Wer, wenn ich schriee, hörte mich denn aus der Engel Ordnungen?'
CJ: 'No one!' [Ain't no angels in the coin biz]
Two great coins to add to an album. The color may come back over time.
I think they have both been cleaned but... they are really nice coins
HAPPY COLLECTING
Agree with everyone else.
Decent album coins at the right price point, but likely would get Genuine if submitted.
A couple of great looking Indian cents. Copper is not a good alloy for me to ever judge, especially from pics. But I will say I agree with the others they will get genuined if submitted. I do like em
Nice IHC's and they will make great album coins... I would keep them either in an album or self slab for protection. Cheers, RickO
Both have had the high points burnished (a type of cleaning). Neither should grade.
We call these types of coins "loved to death." A past owner loved them so much they wanted to make them brighter.

Do you mean a "Coin Doctor?"
Yep, I've seen them work some miracles. Their batting average is not as good as they advertise, but once in a great while they get it right, and you can’t tell the difference. I’ve seen it most often with copper or bronze.
No they will not grade, like said on top they are nice coins for a book a lot of meat on them.
Hoard the keys.

Ditto. Scary isn't it. All it takes is a little time and a little reading as one technique has been in plain sight for over fifty years.
No and no.
Neither will straight grade.
