Had a few people ask me about the coin in my CU icon - this is it, and one of my favorites from my collection. Graded PR-67 this coin has insane rainbow toning and mirrors that make your jaw drop. Only held back by a small planchet flaw in the obverse field.

That's an insanely nice coin!!!!
HAPPY COLLECTING
Now that toning is really appealing. It turned the coin into a work of art. That would be great to paint a picture of.
Best place to buy !

You got Timbuk3 to type more than 1 word, that should tell you something.
Nice picture, what does it really look like?

It looks exactly like that in hand. A bit better even.

I'm impressed
Iconic coin. The colors are amazing.
What a difference a Trueview makes. So Trueview is correct and the auction is not? If so, what a lovely coin!

Excellent
It's nice to see a monster Seated proof get some love in an era where proof Seated coinage seems to have lost some of its collector base. Thanks for sharing this wonderful coin, which is notable as an example of a lower mintage date in the proof Seated quarters that is difficult to find with nice eye appeal.
@Wabbit2313 The TV is a much better representation. The auction photos in that auction were not that great - lot inspection required
Contrary to popular belief, I would not dip the coin....Though I am not a fan of tarnish, I also would not further degrade the surface of the coin by subjecting it to chemical treatment. Cheers, RickO
