Re: If I Break This Coin Out............
It has a nice original look. Personally, I’d leave it alone.
Re: sending in some coins to be graded.
You need to image each individually front and reverse closer up.
I am still in the sell it on ebay and buy properly graded CAC coins.
That should be your circle of competence for the next year.
Do the club scene and visit shows. Find a mentor.
You are just throwing money away.
Go look for some high grade Kennedy and other moderns in mint packaging.
Same grading process with more potential home runs. Budget friendly
Re: Iodine treated gold
The toning in the OP's post looks natural to me and falls into the "leather pouch toning" category. I have seen, and owned, multiple pieces of gold with similar colors and stickered by CAC.
Re: Hansen going CACG?
Hansen can collect his silly stickers. I will stick with the coin. RGDS!
Re: Remove coin from silver dish?
May have more value as hollowware. Try contacting Chinese experts at the major auction houses with pictures. Heritage Auctions may be a place to start.

About 2 weeks ago, I watched this PSA reveal video on YouTube. Check out the mounting on these. Something going on at PSA?
This is what they should have done with that set...
Re: What is the future for coins with minor problems?
Some people treat details coins as though they are radioactive. Are they really any different than circulated coins? They just have different imperfections. An AU details with a small scratch or similar minor problem like a rim nick is going to be much closer to the original than an AG3. Further, the details problem may well have been picked up in commerce.
Re: Sports bettors harassing athletes
An addiction to gambling has to be the same as alcohol these days. You can’t go 15 minutes without seeing a commercial for a gambling site and next is an alcohol commercial. Beer in the corner store and betting at your fingertips. Heck I just saw a lottery commercial and it also has an app for online lottery tickets.
Re: The 1st Fernando Valenzuela rookie PSA 10 has been graded.

If a coin is on the border between a B coin or a C coin, could the graders be consciously or subconsciously influenced to give the coin the benefit of the doubt?
Could not the same be said of PCGS? After all he spent a great deal of money getting his collection into special label holders at PCGS
Is Hanson also a part owner of PCGS like he's a part owner of CACG?
Well if that is the tact you wish to travel, many people of this forum were part owners of PCGS when it was publicly traded, should/were those part owners prohibited from submitting to a TPG that they had a stake in?
Yes unless they want to admit to a conflict of interest of using the company they own to slab the coins that they own.
The TPG industry is fraught with conflict of interest issues, always has been
Thank you. This was the only point I was trying to make.
