Re: Is a dual grade on an NGC slab their error or perhaps normal for them at one point in time?
Ms 64 dmpl for example may be a reason
Re: GRADE REVEALED.... Speaking of series that are difficult to grade.... (sorry, mediocre pics)
I am not surprised there were more opinions. I am not familiar with this token or the quality of the planchets. I have no point of reference for this one. And the real question becomes what the baseline looks like for a token that likely had production challenges and just may not exist at various grade levels. Seems there could be a challenge to develop a reasonable yardstick and set expectations.

Re: Do you trust AI?
There will be hiccups no doubt like every innovative tech.
It's all around us and will be more so. Trust? Is that the right question? It seems irrelevant at this point. It's here, utilize it to your benefit

The 2028 ANA Convention is to be held in Chicago ( Rosemont ).
I just saw that the 2028 ANA show is to be held August 8-12 in Chicago ( Rosemont ) again. I understand that it is a central location with good airline service, but this will be 9th time out of 15 years in Chicago. That is just too much! This year's show will be in Pittsburgh August 25-29, and the 2027 show will be in Chicago (Rosemont ) August 10-14. I loved the show last year in Oklahoma City.

@Copperindian, Ken those are all such beauties. Sold them to go in another direction?

This is just prompt error. Sync with the thing and pick its brain. It's a lot "smarter" than anyone I've ever known. The day after Catherine O'Hara died, AI (two different flavors) insisted that it was just a rumor and she was still alive. There's no "prompt error" there, you're either alive or dead. And AI was wrong.
Did the AI find anything that said it was a rumor? Some article, some social media post, a tweet? Or did it create the misinformation out of thin air? I don't have the answer to that question, but the question itself is pretty important.
She had just died. Probably a lot of sites had not caught up to it. He's been obsessing over this example since it happened. By the time Wikipedia was updated, the AI was probably flawless.
There were probably 1000 sources, human, text, and internet that also would have labeled her alive. People hold AI to a different standard. It's new and people are afraid of it.
My students just turned in first drafts of their these. Only one of them used an LLM for help, despite my encouragement to use them. As a result, they were universally bad with easily correctable flaws which the LLM found when I ran them through GPT5.2
Re: The 2028 ANA Convention is to be held in Chicago ( Rosemont ).
I agree it’s a “comfort” location, familiar and easy. It’s probably best to mix it up a bit with a new location twice a decade or so, which is what it seems the ANA is doing.
Too bad Rosemont is so far away from all those culinary jewels described above. Who wants to commute an hour each way on the subway after a long day at the coin show? (Especially car-centered Americans.)

Re: The 2028 ANA Convention is to be held in Chicago ( Rosemont ).
Living in the NW burbs of Chicago I may be a bit biased but the location is as good as it gets.
We are a major hub for United (750 daily flights), American (500 daily flights) and Southwest airlines (265 daily flights) as well as Spirit & Frontier Airlines: While not technically "hubs," O'Hare serves as a major focus city for both ultra-low-cost carriers, which have significantly expanded their footprints at Terminal 3 and Terminal 5
Rosemont is only minutes away from O'Hare airport and lodging is readily available. In fact there's somewhere around 60 hotels in the immediate area with most offering free shuttles to and from the airport and some even to the convention center.
Access to the city via CTA's Blue Line subway and all sorts of great food:
West Loop / Fulton Market
The Vibe: Trendy, high-energy, and expensive. This is the city's culinary crown jewel.
Best for: Fine dining and "see-and-be-seen" spots.
Lincoln Park & Lakeview
The Vibe: Classic, upscale, and cozy.
Best for: Legendary institutions and high-end comfort food.
Logan Square & Avondale
The Vibe: Artistic, creative, and local. Often cited as the "real" heart of the food scene.
Best for: Cutting-edge gastronomy and craft cocktails.
Chinatown
The Vibe: Densely packed, authentic, and bustling.
Best for: Regional Chinese specialties and hidden gems.
Pilsen
The Vibe: Vibrant, cultural, and historic.
Best for: The city's best Mexican food and eclectic fusion.
