Greetings to all from a new member
I used to collect coins as a boy, and got back into it a few years ago. But after enjoyably lurking here for the last week, I know I still have a lot to learn, and I'm glad to see so many here that enjoy numismatising as much as I do, and know so much about it. I'm sure I'll have questions, and will be quite receptive to your answers. I'm very laid-back and teachable.
I am mostly into dollars and halves, but I have a fair amount of other coinage as well. I'm especially into Walker and Barber halves, and Morgan dollars. But I have Peace and Ike $, and Kennedy halves, too. I have 1 seated lib, and recently acquired my first capped bust, too.
I've been physically disabled most of my life, and currently switch back and forth between a power wheelchair and crutches, depending on what I'm doing. I'm semi-retired and enjoying life in sunny AZ, having moved here almost 3 years ago.
Guess that's enough about me for now. Glad to be here, and see you around!

My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.

This board is a tremendous place to learn. I have a feeling you are going to have a lot to offer to The Crew as well. Just be careful, this website is addictive to say the least!
Barber halves, eh? Nice choice...!
Again, welcome!

Addictive? That's for sure! I've been having a blast. And, it's nice to have an alternative way to feed my addiction without buying (my wife loves that!).
Barber Halves - yep there's a story behind that. Used to have a 1906 in pretty good shape, that I lost down a crack in the wall of my parent's house about 20 years ago. And boy did that loss stick in my mind! Got a vf replacement in the new collection
Thanks once again for the MANY warm greetings, one and all. Back to work now, 'fraid
