Re: Conder101: AGI, discussed earlier
So the back text , other than the company location, is exactly the same as that seen on AGA, ICGS, and IGA. None of them mention the later editions of the ANA grading guide (I think the third edition was the 1987 edition.) I am fairly sure the ICGS and AGA certificate did come out in the 1986-87 era and we know the IGA… -

Re: Thank you conder101
<< <i>Another Coin World holder, maybe you should just lump all these together >> The problem is some of them are "legitimate" (Though pssible fly-by-night) services, some are just dealers inventory, and some are service wannabes that just don't make the cut. Re: HGA. Anyone heard of them?
<< <i>This card has been professionally graded Mint 9 by HGA Holographic Grade Authenticator. Talk about a free lunch and then some here. * 1898-O is graded MS64 and has a slanted O to the right. Forget the VAM, but nothing… -

Re: Which grading service is the top tier for grading cards?
That BGS grading scale debacle at the MINT show is going to haunt the brand. I would be very nervous if I have a BGS 9.5 with a 9 sub or no 10 subs. Did any of the COVID grading companies - HGA, CSG, ECG, XYZ, ABC - survive? I see HGA slabs at some shows but I would think the opening of PSA killed them.
