Yes, all FGA graded 1963 Bazooka cards are fake.

I bought three 63 bazooka FGA Graded NM-MT 8s (about a couple of bucks each!). I guess it was "too good to be true".

Follow-up: I cracked-open a FGA holder to examine the fake 63 Bazooka, and "Kuntryboy",

YOU ARE 100% CORRECT!

These are fake 1963 Bazookas! These fakes are photographs, pasted onto cardboard backing, then cut! With the slightest of effort, the photo seperated from the cardboard.

I had a steak for dinner tonight that was both HAND CUT and RARE. Only paid about $5 a piece at the grocery, wonder if I could make a little cash on ebay?

Here are the three auctions, that ended in June where these (3) fake '63 bazooka "hand cuts" came from"

1. FGA 8 1963 BAZOOKA #36 TOMMY DAVIS #1

2. FGA 8 1963 BAZOOKA #36 TOMMY DAVIS #2

3. FGA 8 1963 BAZOOKA #20 RALPH TERRY

I emailed this seller, and told him that the three FSA he sold me are fakes, and even though all three only cost me $9.66 plus shipping, I did not appreciate receiving fakes, and expect a full refund.

I'm sure glad I didn't purchase a complete set of fakes! LOL!

Has there not been enough discussion on these boards about these third rate grading companies? I only buy PSA, but the other two are reputable (SGC and GAI) enough from what I have read, except for sheet cut cards.

These cards were talked about in the forums maybe 2 or 3 years ago. A member of the forums (crazy solomon) used to do shows on SAH but i dont remember wether he was involved with these fakes or not.

They actually came from Shop At Home network and found their way to ebay, SCD found the fakes and wrote an article which detailed quite a few other counterfits that the company had graded.

Ebay actaully went as far as banning this company, i guess they dont have that ban anymore.

A follow-up on the seller who sold me the (3) fake '63 Bazooka hand cuts. He had no idea they were fake, and offered me a prompt refund. He figured if they were "slabbed", they were real! (Me too! LOL!)

(Wow! Now, I have another $13.66 to spend on some other, hopefully real item!)
