who has built a buffalo nickel grading set?
I've got several Buffalo nickels in MS65 and MS66 and a few in Fine and XF. Figure I might as well build a Fine thru mint state grading set. What would be some good parameters to set up? Problems arise when I consider quality of strike, years, and mints. Should I stick to strong strike examples? Include weakly struck… -
How many Morgans has PCGS graded poor?
Can't tell from the on line population report. Seems to me it would be near impossible to find a Morgan to grade under almost good since the dates get worn off. -
Todays pawn shop find! Grade has arrived
Bought 20 bulk silver dollars for $8 each, an old guy brought them in and the guy at the pawn shop counted 20 and paid the old guy $7 each. I offered him $8 each and took the lot. Now that BGS grades Star basketball, has anyone bought one yet? I was looking at a few of the sealed sets. I see a ton of the listed on ebay (mostly as BINs), but not much action. -

Hey guys so I am a bit confused here. I found this PSA 3 Ed Konetchy on ebay in one of the newer holders. It amazes me that this card only managed a 3.... where as a card in an older holder will get a higher grade in worse condition. Have they become more strict on their grading or what? Also, how does this affect auction… -

Has anyone taken the ANA Grading Course? Is it worth the money?
I am thinking of taking the ANA Grading Course (Correspondence Course). Is it worth the $300.00? Or, can I do the same research on my own? Will it help?
