Need help ID - 2 1/2 Schilling....
Looks like Denmark but not in world book. Reverse - 2 1/2 Schilling SCHLES-WHOLST COURANT 1809. M.F. Obverse looks like typical Crown on R with 1/24 to the left, SP. to the right, VI below. Any help would be appreciated. -

Thanks Tom. That's good advice on authenticating before buying but I have a shop and was taking a chance on a otc buy. I need to update my gold counterfeit books. The other thing that makes me wonder about the coin is a thin line running from the denticle under the 2 up thru the bottom edge point of the 2 thru the decimal… -

group of three 2 1/2 libs 1851, 1852-O and 1853 875 1878-CC Morgan looks nicer than a 60, but not worth much more as a 62. old 2 piece PCGS holder 365 1835 bust quarter EF condition, probably secondary toning after a bath at some point, no hairlines. cool crack 285 -

I just submitted two ICG Gold Indians Graded AU55 and got grades back as follows: 1 10651432 1910 $2 1/2 USA DNC ICG AU55 2 10651433 1880 $5 USA AU55 ICG AU55 The 2 1/2 Indian would not cross at any grade, but I don't have the reason back yet. The $5 Indian crossed with no change to PCGS. Good luck if you send it in. -

Question regarding grading of 2 1/2 Indian
I just bought a 1908 2 1/2 indian gold MS61 Anacs graded coin for $332. There appears to be slight wear on the shoulder of the wing on the reverse I was wondering how it could have graded that high with wear? The coin does look quite beautiful with nice luster regardless. Thanks.
