Need help ID - 2 1/2 Schilling....

Looks like Denmark but not in world book. Reverse - 2 1/2 Schilling SCHLES-WHOLST COURANT 1809. M.F.

Obverse looks like typical Crown on R with 1/24 to the left, SP. to the right, VI below.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like Schleswig—Holstein, a pair of duchies on the Prussian / Danish borders. Here's a link to one on my site from 1796.

It's at the end of the Denmark listings (in my edition) under Schleswig-Holstein.

My '96 edition lists it at $5 in Fine so I'd think about half that for a VG. Mintage was 960,000.
