Re: *** The Official AUGUST Precious Metals Buy, Sell & Trade Thread ***
A friend of mine is looking to buy some solid 1922/1923 BU Peace dollar rolls from me. Even after looking at Tulving, Apmex, Silvertowne, CNI, Gainsville, Coininfo.com, eBay, etc.... I can't figure out a fair price for these. A dealer from of mine who is pretty sharp suggested $800-$850 per roll. That seemed high imo. But… -

Hi Guys, For those of you that didn't read my story before. I have been working on a low grade raw 1972 Topps set for about five years now. I say low grade because this set contains the actual cards from my childhood that I collected in 1972. I did what most other kids did those days. I flipped them, used them on my bike,… -

Re: How many cuartos in a Spain 20r de vellon?
Thank you TitusFlavius and zeebob. My problem will likely seem very strange. I am doing a study comparing postal rates in countries around the world in the 1850 to 1860 period. To standardize the cost of postage, I am using cost expressed in terms of "absolute silver weight." To determine that, I use the crown coin in… -

Re: Bloomberg Businessweek's Gold Prediction
<< <i>Yup. used to pay attention and either bought or sold based on those comments. I ended up with none at one time because of the back and forth. Quit that behavior. Now I'm treating it as part of my retirement someday and just stacking. Never hurts to diversify where your retirement money comes from. >> Based on a…
