1850 type 1 gold dollar G$1 PCGS MS 62 OGH- Tough Date SOLD

This is by far the scarcest Philadelphia mint type 1 gold dollar and a great choice for a type set representative since the premium for this is modest compared to a generic date. The population for PCGS and NGC in MS62/higher is 174/224. The pops for the other dates are as follows: 1849- 807/1392 1851- 1904/2079 1852-… -
1849 Open Wreath Gold Dollar G$1 NGC MS62- First Year Type 1**REDUCED**

This is a very handsome looking example of this first year, type 1 gold dollar. It has a great strike, especially on the reverse, wonderful luster and color, and very few marks for the grade. It does have a tiny light toning spot or water stain at 5:00 on the obverse, that probably accounts for the grade. The obverse has a… -

From time to time, I get random people that contact me about Mark Brunell cards they have. Most times I have what they are offering. In the rare occasions that I actually need/want the card, it's usually offered to me at "out of their minds" requests such as "need an Adrian Peterson SPA Gold Auto/Patch," "PSA or BGS Gem… -

Has anyone seen any of the reverses yet? So, it looks like one new reverse per year? Do you like the idea of a rotating reverse? Re: Amazing: Canadian Dollar now at $1.044 to $1 US Dollar. Australian Dollar now at $1.14 to $1 US Doll
Realone: You are using the reciprocal % of my numbers. I meant to say that I can now only buy $1.044 Canadian for each US $1 right now. I remember when I could get close to $1.60 Canadian for each US $1 about 10 years ago. That was when I was able to buy some neat Canadian coins at Canadian auctions (usually Michael… -
