Coin #2. The why, I can't answer. I remember seeing #2 on the 'bay and thinking about bidding (in the end, I didn't). The reverse on #2 was had no color. I prefer my "*" coins to have color on both sides. -

It has long seemed to me that it's very tough to find the Indian $2½s and $5s certified by PCGS or NGC in MS65 or better and with a CAC bean (green or gold). Anyone have close ups or diagnostics for a genuine 1854 Ty 2 $1 gold?? Crappy pictures attached
I bought a 1854 Ty 2 $1 in AU-53-58 raw today. I took a gamble and can't get a picture worth a crap, I'll post the 2 10x shots I have, but doubt they will suffice. Does anyone have die markers or anything for a genuine TY2 1854 $1 Gold?? Thanks,
