1998-99 Topps Gold Label – Masterpiece Set Goal Race '99 red 1/1
I purchased 1 pack at beckers a while back as it was the last one in the box at the counter and pulled a Red 1/1 Eric Lindros goal race to 99 . Am curious if any know what the odds were of pulling one . ill see if can get a scan in later of the card. -

Fake Perth Mint 1 oz bars prevalence
These bars contain no silver but weight close. Twice in past 6 months from different sources fake Perth Mint carded 1 oz gold bars were encountered. Weight again correct but the fake gold thicker than real ones. -

1982 Fleer Ripken 1/1?
I posted this on another board and thought it was worth mentioning here. This seller has a signed 1982 Fleer RC of Cal Ripken Jr that was sent and authenticated by PSA/DNA. Before sending the card for authentication, they put a 1/1 on the card. Here's the result: LINK Nothing ceases to amaze me. -

Derby winner Golden Tempo out for Preakness. Not unexpected. Distance shorter, horse liked a longer race. Will be saving the charge for the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga. Same Derby distance. Belmont Stakes shortened up from 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 while at Saratoga due to track configuration. -

1: As @MarkKelley brought up, those are semi-quincentennial quarters, not bicentennial quarters (bicentennial coins are from 1976) 2: Seeing as these are normal circulation-issue coins that are still being made, while some people may pay premium of some sort, for the most part, these coins are just worth 25 cents.
