As you look at the tool box, on the left side, on the table, is that rubber foam tray liner material? If it is, you do not want that near any of your slabbed coins. It reacts with PCGS plastic in a bad way. It will etch milk like spots into the plastic. That is my PSA for the day. I have pics of the damage that stuff… -

Coin must grade 67 CAM to make $$$ Never a DCAM Hairlines can not be seen thru the plastic all that said 59's are not marred by hairlines. A milk spot yes, but that can be seen Good luck to the winner -

No. However, they should adopt a policy in which they refuse to "conserve" problem free original coins. The service should be primarily used to make an uncollectible coin (i.e. fire damaged, milk spotted, sea salvaged) collectible. -

I have no idea about the VAM. The coin looks every bit of 66 to my eye, but the milk spots might bump it down to 65. In any event, a very pretty Morgan. Take care...Mike -
New return policy for the US Mint??
For the first time EVER, I had to return a product (2025 Proof Set) to the US Mint. One of the quarters had a milky spot. Got the replacement and turns out that the Kennedy Half has a significant smudge between the 2 and the 0 in the date area. Not something I could ever resell and worry that the spot may become worse with… -

LeeG I am affraid to say,I doubt that coin will upgrade.The strike isn't the best.The milk spots on the Rev would also hurt it,according to David Hall.As to DCAM,that is anybodys guess these days.I'd have to see it in hand. -

If you signed up for the subscription within a month or so of them going on sale they will start your subscription with next years issue. So far have not heard of a large volume of milk spotted eagles like the 2006-W. -

the first thing I see is that spot Unfortunately, it is on the coin. Fortunately, it is just a light milky tone spot with no debris on the surface. The scanner is greatly exaggerating the spot, as it is only discernible to the naked eye at certain angles. I'm still happy, and I'm picky about spots - especially carbon!
