Copper is extremely tough to judge via online images. HOWEVER, the second image does give the coin a DCAM appearance.

Whether or not it will "upgrade" depends on the grade which you have not included.

I would be leary of the frost on that one. Check the edges around the bust real close.

It does look like a JWCameo (stay away!) photo, or an R&I photo.

No way it will go DCAM in any event.

image Now my feelings are really hurt by these statements. "My" photo's are not enhanced in any way shape or form.image Joking about my feelings but not my photo's.

I am affraid to say,I doubt that coin will upgrade. The strike isn't the best. The milk spots on the Rev would also hurt it,according to David Hall.As to DCAM,that is anybodys guess these days.I'd have to see it in hand.

    I am optimistic.

Having made two '57 dcams (one earlier this year) and handled at least two others, I have seen enough of them to tell you that they rarely come with the type of frost as seen on the '60's cents. I believe you have a chance at dcam if your pictures are accurate. As you know, it is difficult to make a determination based on the photos alone.

I don't believe you will get a dcam designation if you submit it to PCGS in the holder for a review. I would crack it out and try again - your chances will be far better.

I would be more than happy to compare your piece to the two dcam's I own if you are willing to ship it to me so I can see it in hand. PM me if interested.

In any case - good luck. A major score if you can get it in a dcam holder - especially a 7dcam holder.

With the way PCGS & NGC are grading these days, no way on the DCAM.

Great job on the pics, I like em.

Very nice cam for a 57 Linc.

    Agree with Mike.

Nice but not DCAM in today's standards.

Hey LeeG. That Lincoln looks gorgeous to me. Very nice example. Not sure from the images if it will upgrade or not. The coin looks real though. Nice find. imagematteproof

I'm not an expert but I don't see it going DCAM or up in pts. Are those water spots on the reverse? Also, seems to be some very minor, although distracting marks. Perhaps it's the holder. Either way it's a nice coin.image
Everything I write is my opinion.

    Looking for alot of crap.

That does look like a great coin! I'm not sure if it would upgrade but I don't like to gamble by cracking coins out. If I were to try it I'd leave it in its holder. That is just me though, it sounds like Cameonut is comfortable with cracking them out...

Shows what I know image But it looks like it would make 68cam if it didn't have the spots. I guess it's a 67cam then.

THat coin looks like it is the highest it will ever go. The spots on the back will keep it out of a 68 holder and the frost is not there for a dcam

I would not be surprised to see it come back a 66 cam if it were broken out and submitted raw. I would not do that at all. Be very careful.
