Very little retail and dealer traffic. Sales were weak compared to prior months that I attened for Smythe. Did some good buying. His cards probably come from recently cut up older sheets. There are a few guys who have the cutting technology that is identical to the old opc factory. There are guys in northern Washington, and southern Vancouver that have it as well. Many of his cards are impossible to find that centered and in that perfect condition.… -

California gold had a higher concentration of copper vs the southern branch mints which contained higher silver which is what creates the greenish gold common to the early southern mints which used local gold. Iridium was found in Dahlonega gold in the late 40’s to 50’s (per a great article by forum member @GeorgeKellogg).…
