I sure wish they would have been using matched die pairs back in '64.
So, I get a small batch of 1964 sets in today (5), and all the halves have nicely cameo'd reverses - with brilliant obverses. All the nickels look like this: With, of course, brilliant reverses. Being so crude, it’s probably some kind of token, such as a hacienda token or similar. You might have some luck with the book Latin American Tokens by Russ Rulau (Krause Publications). Of course that is if it’s Latin American, which isn’t a given. -

Goldberg auction - something cool for Lincoln and/or pattern lovers.
1942 White Metal Cent. PCGS graded MS-64 I didn't even know there were any Lincoln patterns in the wild. Anybody heard of this one before?
