Re: Congratulations to Neil Downey - 1972 Topps set 100%
Hi Guys, I was the lucky winner of a #32 Cleon Jones - IA card. This leaves me with the following 6 cards that I would still like to upgrade to a psa 8. They are #50 Willie Mays - IA, #178 Paul Schaal - IA, #300 Hank Aaron - IA, #409 Frank Baker, #611 Rich Reese and #655 Jerry Grote. If anyone has any of these cards… -
Re: The 4th finest 1972 Topps set ever is now retired
Frank - Of the ones you listed I have all except the #409 and 655, and 300 - Aaron IA. I might have an eaiser time of it since I am going pretty much only for 8's, but the Aaron IA is a real toughie, and most nice 8's I have seen run around $200- $250. I know the Schaal IA was Mike Castaldi's bete noir, so I'll see how it… -

set divisors
I just upgraded a card in my 1956 baseball set and came across a problem. After completing the edit and hitting the continue bar, the numbers that came up were: 5262/657 = 8.0091*** ( 8.01 rounded off). When I went back to registration main page for 1956, it states under the description that the divisor for the set is 646.… -
Re: What would you pay for this "buffed"1909-s VDB?
$1000 is way out of my range I was thinking 600-650 tops. But my idea of value seems in line with the replies, maybe a bit on the low side. So if I get it great, at least I didn't pay way too much. Though I probably won't win it as it never ceases to amaze me how I'm consistently the person willing to pay the second… -
Re: 1975 Topps Baseball Collectors Thread
I started working on this set a little over a year ago. I haven't gotten as far as I would like to be at this point (2.27% complete). With all that I am working on (see my sig line), I think I've done pretty good. The lowest pop I've picked up so far is #655 Rico Carty with only 13 PSA 9's and 6 PSA 10's. Best of luck to… -
Re: Picked up a FIVE pound bag of Indian Cent culls
<< <i>Will you be recording all the dates and doing a statistical workup? that would be interesting! >> You would be bored. Talk about some truly ugly coins. A couple of surprises but otherwise... I did think about getting a cheap used DANSCO and seeing how many holes I could fill. Now that the key date is among them. (No… -

Re: Ben and Eli
lol, I just don't think his will drop quite as drastically as the others you have mentioned. What have they accomplished really? Besides being superstars, nothing. He on the other hand has ONLY Montana and Bradshaw ahead of him. Good company imo. Especially when you look at the fact that hes only 27/28 years old. I do…
