I don't think you will have any luck removing milk spots from Silver Eagles. :( A few years ago PCGS was offering a $50,000 reward to anyone who could find a way to remove / prevent the spots. No-one ever collected on this offer as far as I know. I had sets of Silver Eagles years ago. Raw sets and a complete slabbed set.… -

Should I return MS62 Saint?
I recently picked up a PCGS 1928 Saint Gaudens in MS62 from APMEX to fill the with motto spot in my 20th century type gold set. Well the coin arrived yesterday after waiting for about 2.5-3 weeks. Usually, if you hold the coin at an angle under a bright light that will show up similar to milk spots. Basically put the light angled like you’re looking at a piece of currency, looking for folds (if that makes sense) -
