only 2000-P correct......and to put it in perspective, only approx. 5,000 were the Cheerios variety out of 767 million minted!

Some have attempted to make cast copies of the Cheerios sac but savvy collectors know the genuine examples were Generally Milled coins.

You know, the more I think about this the more surprised I am that milk spots are not one of the diagnostics for the Cherrios sac.

If you eat a lot of Lucky Charms, you might still find a Cheerios Sac in circ.

I told my wife I was going to find a Cheerios dollar in circulation, and she said, "Honey, you're nuts."

  • Sugar and spice, and everything nice,
I checked all my rolls, even checked them twice.
Just couln't find nothing, what a losing game,
But I didn't give up, though all were the same.
I opened a bag, and out they all poured,
And kept on going, even when I got bored.
My eyes grew tired, and my fingers got numb,
But I just couln't quit, 'till I pulled out a plum.
Still not one found, 'tho I opened more rolls,
So back to the boxes, and filled up some bowls.
Nothing inside them, not even a cent,
I wasted my time, and my money's all spent.
