First photo of the 2004 Silver Eagle...

Nice early strikes as usual with good luster and no milky spots. Some minor die erosion on the sun which appears as a small bump or shiny spot. Most recent ASE's (2001-2004) have this exact same problem. I have complained to the US Mint with no reply. I believe all the master hubs have this minor flaw. Interestingly, this… -

CCCCHHHHHHOOOOOKKKKKKKEEEEEEE IV
Welp fans this has been quite a week. The Yanks were sooooo smug, all that money, all the commercials. They had it all and only had to win one more game. Instead they all showed up wearing dresses in game 4 and didn't take them off until they all gathered behind the wood shed. This is the ultimate choke, owned by the New… -
Re: Ft. Myers, Florida Coin Show Report- Saturday - Nov. 18th
Had a pleasant drive up to Ft Myers this afternoon with my 89 year old Dad. We didn't arrive until 1:30 and stayed till about 3:15. There were about 25 dealers and the crowd of collectors had virtually disappeared by the time we got there; which was great as none of the tables were crowded. I took a leisurely look at what… -
Re: 2006 ASE 20th Anniversary Population Report - MS vrs PFDC Totals
I agree that there are many of the early 20th MS 69's that should be in 70 plastic if not for the fear of "milk spot" issue. Not counting the Revese Proof, which will get the 20th Anniversary designation no matter how they were submited, sealed or not. There are14,549 Regular Proofs that are designated as 20th Anniversary.… -

Re: Get 'em while there hot boys and girls. The next big thing............textile toned ASE's!
I have purchased ASE's from the beginning (up until they skipped a year).... They are still clear and pristine with no tarnish or milk spots.... I have stored them in two places... my gun safe initially, and for the last few years, in a cardboard box in the cellar....true, it is a finished cellar, livable...my man cave ;)… -
