Had two of those emails (Nigeria/Libya) wanting to get cash and gold out of the country... I have no idea why anyone would fall for these, however, they do, and some have died. Others have lost a lot of their personal funds. The scams are widely known, but still collect their suckers. Cheers, RickO -

Harry Carson lived 3 blocks down during the football season. Peter Falk grew up here and comes back from time to time. Back to Carson, he was a good friend of my sister in law's brother who died aboard TWA 800. Jack O'Hara was a producer of MNF. SD -

Ikes in pristine condition are hard to find. They are so big that they self distruct when they fall from the dies. They almost always have reed marks on the features from where the big monsters clang together. A complete set of ms 66 Ikes would probably cost you around 5 grand. Compare that with other moderns. -

A dropped letter or the rarer dropped number happens when the letter or number is filled with hard pack grease, grime and or foreign substance. The letter or digit then falls out on a blank planchet which is then stamped by the mint dies leaving the impression. Almost always a one-shot deal and not multiple errors. Here…
