Re: I posted this on the US forum but think might get more experience hereI
This is funny if it turns out to be and very fishy! I was trying to see how much I could ship and insure if I didn't go through the Global Shipping program. It turns out his registered ebay address is in Niagra Falls,NY! So I sent him an invoice and messaged him I ship free in the US. We will see if he pays. My scammer… -
Re: Bruingirl at it again
What panel is it supposed to be in? His has Henderson in the top panel and there is another seller that also has a rack with him in the top one. Also, are there cards that never show up on the top of the rack? As far as stopping him, I don't think ebay cares much about scammers, whether they are buyers or sellers. I've… -

Re: How important are back card scans for you ?
Hi Rick, I am a satisfied customer too! I really like seeing the front and the back of the card mostly to ensure legitimacy. The scammers and the photo-shoppers work pretty hard to take our money and I am deathly afraid of flips that are altered / re-sealed. The back of the card gives me another area to look at to make… -
Re: 1901-S Barber Quarter: Opinions...counterfeit slab on eBay?
A lousy picture is often one of the ways that scammer uses to trick buyers. Given that this is a $4,000 coin, those are terrible pictures because it overemphasizes the slab and shows you very little about the coin, which is what a collector is really buying. They didn't even post a picture of the reverse of the coin right… -
Re: What is the most efficient and safest way to distribute counterfeit slabs?
over in the currency forum, it was pointed out that the scammers in china are getting smarter. they used normal-sounding usernames & usa item locations. the auctions mentioned had a lot of people taking the bait, and the final sales tally was near $6000. if all the slab counterfeiters followed suit, a lot of people would… -
Re: Images and coin discussions? The board says....
coin pics are great, coin discussions are great, threads to hype a member's currently running auctions stink and belong on B/S/T board. could always tell us about the fantastic toning or super deep cameo after the auction ends, if the intent is really edification. scammer alerts are obvious exception tho. Besides, rather… -
Re: Mind if I join you?

<< <i>Looks Allgood to me. >> Well, it took four posts. If I hadn't been out working in the yard it would have only taken one. If you don't know the meaning or the history of that saying, you're in for a real eye opener. Just do a quick search on the Savanna Scammer, pjd1966. We're all quite familiar with the saying, and… -
This guy is ripping people off on EBAY
I was almost one of the victims... SCAMMERS When the auction ends, they ask you to send payment to alternate email address. Anyone know of a link to ebay where they can be reported? I emailed the highest bidder, but sometimes they think you're trying to talk him out of bidding. I've had 3 other ebayers email and ask me… -
'52 Topps Mantle in local paper..

Noticed this add in our local 'bargain finder' paper. Too good to be true.. I guess these scammers who haven't had much on eBay lately are turning to the classifieds.. I should meet this guy. (and say BAD!) RARE UNGRADED 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card, if you are looking for great finds at a fraction of the cost…
