Re: Have you ever been ripped off online? Stories here!
I've been ripped off , on the "bay" , but nothing of great worth. I've had people not sent or item lost with no recourse. All were money orders. If someone could post the long gone coin seller--- rafaelcoins --- , you will see one of the worst ripoffs that I've ever see. I bought a very high grade Buffalo Nickel ( that I… -

I love that Yaz card too. Have a few and I am trying to sell some cards where I have duplicates but with these I want to keep them all. Think I also just like 1980 Red Sox cause it was the first year I watched baseball and we visited my Great Aunt in Southern Maine every summer and my parents let me get this Red Sox… -

Re: Numismatic Goals for 2026
As usual I'll keep an eye open for nice renaissance and baroque era low denomination coins from the cities of Braunschweig, Hannover, Göttingen, Hildesheim, Northeim, Einbeck, Hameln and other places in southern Lower Saxony. A medieval coin from the Bishopic of Hildesheim would be nice aswell. I should also keep my habit… -
Re: Saturday morning coffee with coins

Happy Saturday Morning! While this hobby is a great a wonderful place for my inquisitive mind, my soul is replenished when I immerse myself with mother nature. I arrived home last night from a wonderful trip. The image above is from Tuesday morning, while kayaking on Fourmile Lake in Southern Oregon. That is Mt.… -
Southern Gold on a hot, steamy weekend... post 'em if you got 'em.

Sitting out on my back deck in the Baltimore/Washington metro area with the temp hovering around 80 degrees (and 70% humidity) at 8:30 in the morning makes me think about those hot, sticky summers on the coastal plains of N.C. during my childhood. A fitting moment to pay tribute to the great and historic southern mints.…
