1828 Bust quarter, B-2

The Browning-2 variety of 1828 is a tough R4+ coin and an "unaided eye" variety that is easily identified by the square base in the "2" of "25 C". The other varieties for the year have either a curl-base "2" (B-1, B-4) or a "25/50" error (B-3). I own the coin below, but I had difficulty establishing a fair market price on… -

Says its 1/1 but its really 1/2.........

This guy has this card listed as a 1/1 and he says "its the only one" This card is really a 1/2 and because its listed as a 1/1 it may drive bids up higher than usual (its already over SMR value right now) I have emailed the seller (within first hour of auction) and told him that there are actually 2 of these cards and… -
Matte Proofs Lincoln's for the week of 2/5
A record number of (41) mattes this week! Next week will be at least 19 less as those will be sold at auction. When I first started this list I assumed we would maybe have 5-6 a week. Guess I was wrong. We are seeing more new raw material coming up again this week. These sure are tempting, the prices are right. But will… -
Re: I want a $2 or $5 circulating coin!
Here in Australia, they have had the $1 coin since 1984 and the $2 coin since 1988. Before that, they had $1 & $2 notes, which were phased out around that same time. They are very popular and are probably the most used coins. As a metal detectorist, I especially like them, because, since they are used so much, they seem to… -

Re: With it being just a bit over 2 weeks away..It's time to start talking Tyson Vs. Lewis:)
<< <i>Lewis is a joke? The man is best heavy weight out there. Who do you want to see fight Lewis? Can you even name a heavyweight that Lewis has not beaten yet? Boxing is in a sorry state is Mike Tyson is their biggest draw. And I predict Tyson does something crazy to disqualify himself. Tyson is scared of Lewis and has…
