Re: My PCGS Submissions!
Tone is hard to convey in written text, and though your profile is private so I don’t know if you’ve been here long, your post count tells me you may possibly be newer. I can assuredly say that no malice was directed by the questioning, the intention was just to help educate. Some years ago, when I was a young goob myself,… -
Re: Dealer Stickers are Damaging the PCGS Hologram on the Reverse of OLD GREEN HOLDERS
I have found that older stickers are harder to remove but still easy to remove without doing any damage. I use Meguiar's PlastX polish. Same stuff you polish slabs with. I put a tiny bit on the sticker and let it soak for a few minutes. The label will come off with ease. If there is any glue left on the slab I put I little… -
My position on Moderns

I have some friends here that collect moderns. At times, one or more may have been offended by what appear to be anti-modern remarks made by me on this forum. I would like my friends to remain friends and mean no disrespect or offense. Frankly, some of the sharpest collectors I have met (in person and on the internet) are… -
Re: Ebay auction from ?? Real or Fake, what say you? Check his other auction as well..
<< <i><< Aside from the fact that it's fake, I see this seller is another chump who fell for the 15% off FVF for offering free shipping. Russ, NCNE >> Please explain Russ. >> The numbers don't work. For the vast majority of items, the cost of shipping exceeds the amount returned by the 15% discount on the final value fee.… -
Re: What do you like better, your job/profession, your family or collecting coins?
<< <i>What Russ fails to mention is that he is responsible for them going insane, at least that would be my "qualified" observation. I know for a fact that he drives me nuts with the majority of his threads on this board. As for myself, obviously my family, but what else would I say when the wife is hovering around as I… -
Re: Let's post some Classic Commemoratives this weekend.

<< <i> << <i> << <i>IIRC, Fatman bought that one sight-unseen based on Russ' eye (Russ saw it in a local shop). Still a wise move by Fatman! >> I think it was his Pilgrim. >> It was the "**** in the Dirt" Pilgrim -- a classic CU forum tale! Linkified >> Yes, it is the "**** in the Dirt" Pilgrim. Although technically a… -
Re: Anyone know much about TruGradeService?...
Yes, the Magnificant Russ has once again pointed out that i have sold Trugrade slabs. Indeed it is true, but the only one that barfs on these boards is Russ with his attacks on all of the new memebers. Where is there agenda in fact?? Can you say ingnorance.. Oh look, another member has pointed out an upgrade from a… -
Re: Fletcher, Remove Darin's Negative Feedback & I'll Paypal you $50.00

<< <i>Yes, Fletcher, you were right about Darin. You're still a nitwit, though. Russ, NCNE >> Yeah Russ BUT he is a CU Forum nitwit.....not unlike a few of us (no need to agree with me here Russ ) I have always given Fletcher the credit from day one for standing up for his own principles even if it meant going against the… -
Re: If you had information about a hoard-

a deaf and dumb accountant is accused of stealing a bunch of money so through an interpreter (Russ) tells the accused (through sign language) look, they know you have the money and they want it back or they kill you. <insert hand movements> accused motions back with hand signals,` okay okay, the money is in my bottom file… -
Re: High grade 1964 CAM/DCAM Proof Halves are............

The coin I posted of course belongs to someone else and I only have a scan to go by. It was graded a long time ago as you can tell from the cert number. I , myself, see spots on the coin. Russ has a 68 D/C Acct. Hair that is at least as nice or better than the one I posted. My guess is that Russ has the nicer coin and the…
