Totally bogus. The date's not even close to being right, especially the '3' digit.

Aside from the fact that it's fake, I see this seller is another chump who fell for the 15% off FVF for offering free shipping.

I sent my ebay account manager a message pointing out how this promotion just doesn't make sense at any level and that I thought it was unethical of ebay to try to train buyers to expect free shipping since it was eBays attempt to make sellers pay ebay a percentage on a legitimate business expense. he seemed to agree. --Jerry

Seems to me that they were already doing that through the shipping DSRs and the fee incentives for maintaining 4.8s across the board.

But the seller tells you how to spot a fake image

I find it hard to understand why a seller of fakes doesn't start the auction at a penny and let it go no reserve.

    Please explain Russ.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Ya think this fella might be a lurker here?

"OUR COINS ARE ALL 100% GUARANTEED TRUE BECAUSE COME FROM WORLD AUCTIONS AND PRIVATE NUMISMATICS COLLECTIONS. DON’T BUY THE SLAB BUT THE COIN ( YOU CAN VERIFY IT : please read below ); USUALLY YOU PAY A COIN WITH SLAB MUCH MUCH MORE BUT A PROFESSIONAL NUMISMATIC OR A PROFESSIONAL COLLECTOR DON’T NEED SLAB BUT COIN."

Not only that, but the structure of the sentences looks almost like a play on Russian! Perhaps this Milano account is really a Russian account?

And the bad thing is even if you did offer free shipping, bidiots still would not give you a 5 star rating.

The numbers don't work. For the vast majority of items, the cost of shipping exceeds the amount returned by the 15% discount on the final value fee. In addition, free shipping is a great way to kill the shipping cost DSR. Because of the way eBay worded it, a lot of buyers think that a "3" means "not applicable".

Absolutely right. Just another case where a lot of sellers fail to do the math, and think Ebay's doing them a favor. I hadn't thought about the angle of training sellers to expect free shipping though. In any case, chasing a high DSR for shipping is a waste of time.

Buying this coin is like playing Russian roulette with a 45 automatic pistol.
