Re: *****OFFICIAL INSANITY @ US COIN*****SOLD OUT...boxes @ PCGS
It's crazy all right. With so many of these Mint offerings, there's some extreme hype in the beginning. Then 5+ years later, no one remembers and a gazillion are for sale on flee bay. Same will be true with this offering. --aap -

Re: Penn State Scandal
<< <i>It is repugnant that the judge who handled the arraignment and bail for Sandusky has/had connections (even if it was just to volunteer) with his organization. The judge should have recused herself, simply to avoid the "mere appearance of impropriety" in such a high profile case. The investigation of this scandal may… -
1899 Florin and 1937 20-centavo "key"
Hey all, Below I (hopefully) have some pictures. I have a 1899 Florin (Great Britain). It appears that at one time, someone in the distant past tried to clean it and left some very light scratches across the front in the left field and cheek area, and in one of the shields. Re: Is this coin properly graded?
Question: Would you buy a coin like that at a B&M shop? Then Why would you buy it from a flee bay site? I guess there is a reason to buy from a B&M shop then! I ALWAYS recomend buying a coin only if you have seen it in hand! -
Re: Are You Cold? Four Below here...South Jersey
It's 64 and sunny here in the SF Bay area. I just got back yesterday from Bangkok, Thailand where it was about 90, so it feels a little cold. My eldest daughter flew back from Bangkok to NYC yesterday, so she felt a temperature drop of around 75 degrees. -
