I'd say it's a milk spot. I've seen similar on MS66 JFKs that are clad. It looks weird when you look at it but it is obviously not wear when you see it. That's my guess anyway. -

Mentioning minor defects - for example a TINY "milk-spot" - will usually defeat a PayPal SNAD claim. Such descriptions may, however, hurt sales/prices. BUT, at least once the items are sold, they stay "sold." -

Nope! PCGS has decided to NOT grade any UNC SAE with the MS70 grade do to their inherent milk spotting. As far as your submission goes, they are probably wondering why they decided to NOT assign the MS70? NOT. -

You posted these pictures before. As I said before, I'm not a fan of the top coin which all of the milk spots. The toning might be real, but I'm not thrilled with it. The bottom coin looks NT. -

100% acetone will not harm metals. It attacks/removes organics. I use it on new silver. Recommended by forum member (no longer with us) Russ to prevent milk spots. Seems effective. Cheers, RickO -
