Re: 1989 Topps Hockey: PSA Set from Scratch UPDATE: Going through the raws again
Here's the results of my first sub with this set. This was sent before the small order that popped the other day. Sent 104 cards to PSA early in this project. I didn't examine these with a loupe but strongly felt that 10-15 would grade out 10. A couple of those Gretzkys and Sakics are things of beauty, especially compared… -
Re: Grader of death'd
I understand how you feel. Recently I had a 104 card submission yielding no 10s (posted below). I was pretty sure at least 10% would get 10. When the grades came in I was pretty upset until I had them in hand and compared them to the only two tens I have (from a different sub). There's clearly a difference in the cards. I… -
Re: Box o' Museum collection
<< <i>That makes up for my box. My net return was around -120. I have terrible rip luck. At least I seem to have the urge to rip new product out of my system for a while. It takes for me to do a box like that about once a year to realize I always personally lose with modern unopened. Glad to read you scored! Matt >> Can't… -

** Fun Way To Show Collection
I have been taking more photos of my collection and I thought it would be fun to show pictures with a brief synopsis of each year. Similar to what you would find in an almanac. I collect primarily 30 key cards in baseball from 1956 to 1985. 1956 – Americans continue their love affair with “Ike” as Dwight Eisenhower cruises… -
