Stack's Bowers Auction Newp: US Mint Medal
I collect Naval medals as a diversion from my half dime obsession. A most-excellent agent viewed the medal for me (he has a website here). He described the medal to me via telephone and we discussed strategy. I was fortunate to receive an email this morning informing me of his successful bid in the auction. Also cool was… -

Digital Camera Comments/Opinions
I know there has been many treads on digital cameras (and have read several). I am considering the Nikon Coolpix 4600 for general use and coin pics. I can pick up a new one of these with a 512 memory card plus assessories for around $200 on eBay. Before I bite the bullet, I would like all of your comments/opinions. Thanks,… -

Re: 1969 Topps White Letters
1969 Topps white letter cards are only in the 5th series (426-512). Here's the list of the 23 cards along with the description of the variation. If a card isn't on this list, and the names are in white, then it was intended to be that way and it's not a variation. Each of these cards had a later printing where the name… -
Re: I cant believe Ted Williams past away today...
Yes, Ted Williams is ONE of the greatest, but he's definitely not THE greatest hitter of all-time. You take into account what Ty Cobb was doing back in the 1900's -early 20's, and it's actually amazing the kind of numbers he put up. Let's look at some stats: Ted Williams - 19 years games - 2292 at-bats - 7706 hits - 2654… -

Re: Fleer Team Action Debacle
Below is the letter I just recently received from the Registry people at PSA. It looks like the FTA cards will be removed from the different player Registries. Not good on any front. The only thing I was offered was a grading voucher for 5 regular submissions. Oh well! “I’ve reviewed this situation with Gayle Kean and have…
