My favourite silver coins are German 90% silver coins. The ½ Mark, 1 Mark & 5 Reichsmark are often available in quantity for spot or even a little less while the Vereinsthaler coins and 2, 3 & 5 Mark coins usually carry a little premium. Re: Counterfeit 1818 Bust half - Contemporary or modern?
It looks like a really beat up contemporary counterfeit from the 19th century. Even if it were real, PCGS would not have graded it. It’s been damaged, not worn, which is the requirement for a straight graded Poor-1.
