Why would PCGS plus and CAC sticker copper with carbon flecks?

I was noticing some upcoming lots from CSNS that are plussed, stickered or both that had carbon spots/flecks....

Minor perhaps, but I wonder why these uber designations are given on such coins?

Should it be overlooked?

I would not pay premiums for such coins.....and if I was interested I in fact would discount my offer/bid.

I do not buy copper with flecks or spotting (and there is a decent bit of proof copper in my collection). I am also baffled by the copper I see with stickers.

Not that long ago HRH chimed in to say that any copper with spots would never plus. Times change.

    63s? 64s? or 66s? 67s?

I could see lower MS graded coins with CAC stickers and the + even with carbon flecks...........

Did he mean that a solid 64 would never + if it had spots? Why couldn't it be a 63+?

Spots are a part of copper coins. It's hard to avoid.
