Heritage Auction at www.ha.com may be a good company to sell your coins. It is much more reputable then Ebay which means psychologically people will be more willing to pay closer to prices in price guides. Not sure about their fees. But, usually you get what you pay for.

BST No fees. I've had many great transactions there.

It depends on what you have to sell and your time horizon. If you have enough time, then eBay is the best place to "hit it out of the ball park".!!! You can get away with over price easy on nice coins. Way better than standing in line at a coin show just to hear some low-ball dealer's line of B.S. !!
What I have noticed about eBay is you can price things crazy high and STILL be the lowest price on the list and still walk away winning big !!

I would simply say, it comes down to what you are selling.
Every option available is going to be the worst from some coins and the best for others.

This, I've made some satisfying purchases there, I assume the sellers felt just as happy.

I am currently trying greatcollections, will report back.
<< <i>no fees? Not too many business models will support that. You pay for what you get IMO.

Great Collections seems favorable from a seller's perspective (no seller's fee from hammer price on coins that realize more than $1000).
Heritage and Stacks/Bowers-Merena may be useful for more esoteric issues and especially for issues above $5,000.
You will make the most going thru ebay.

Items of over $1000, perhaps the BST or Heritage auctions are better.
